Some of the success stories
This my senior year. I had my child October 2013 while I was still in high school. I graduate in June of 2014!The parenting class has taught me so much about parenting my child. It has also taught me how to deal with everyday life. They helped me getting my child in daycare. Also Mrs. Kristy had always reassured me that I can graduate and still succeed in life.
I liked meeting other young moms so we can all relate. It made me feel more comfortable and met new friends so this class will have a life long positive affect!
This has helped me a lot with becoming a father. It also helped me become more of a man.
Love the Babysitting class. My 12 year old daughter just took advantage of it – thanks!
CHC promotes self-sufficiency
CHC changes the community as well!
Without proper education, advocacy and support teen parents will have a significantly higher chance of using the social welfare system – cash assistance, food stamps, subsidized housing and involvement with Children & Youth protective services. We prepare these young parents to nurture their children and to become self‐sufficient and productive.Donate Now
